I write this not to scare you, but to advise you of some things you can do to be prepared in case unemployment keeps rising and things turn really bad. There are those that are predicting food riots, food shortages, chaos in the streets etc. Do we KNOW this is going to happen? Of course not, however, it certainly does not hurt to be prepared. Anything you stock up on now, will not go to waste if the worst doesn't happen. Remember there are natural disasters as well, you could experience a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, mudslides, etc. and being prepared is a much better position to be in, just in case. We never know what life will throw at us, so be prepared, but don't go way overboard and panic. People panicking sometimes causes problems that don't need to happen.
